This is an exciting time for Hope Waddell Training Institution, Calabar, Nigeria. With substantial developments at every turn: updated installations, academic awards and recognition for current students and staffs, our growing endowment (the first in Africa for secondary institutions) the vigor of the alumni’s at every graduating year dating back to the late 1960s to date. Together, we form a HWOSA of unprecedented size, excellence, capacity, and reach.
HWOSA National has seized the new frontier in its quest to bring all Hope Waddell’s alumnis from across the globe in to a common objective-the ever renewed sense of spirit to HWTI.
Despite the current tests faced by our alma mater, HWOSA is well position to ameliorate this challenges including fostering a sense of pride among current students and alumnis. To be the cohesive body that uplifts its members and positively impact our Alma Mater.
Within a short period we have made meaningful strides:
1. Brought hwosans across the globe together for a common purpose.
2. Support development in Hope Waddell Training Institution that has improved the school environment and educational capabilities of the students.
Our vision to create an institution that moulds young men to be productive members of society and garner the respect of the academic world is inescapable in all our endeavors.
